Thousands of stock updates delivered daily.  One message to thousands of investors.  Voicemail became essential— a platform for delivering information about products and services, medical advice, news events, horoscopes, just about everything!.

Technology Catches Up

Then everything changed. Storage capacity increased dramatically, costs dropped and we introduced personal messaging. People began sending messages to each other— fellow pilots, colleagues, friends, family. Adoption spread organically as Voicemail became the first failsafe form of voice communication.  A traveling salesman needs to tell his bride what flight he's on but she's not answering!
