VOICEMAIL, A LOVE STORY!

TALKING BOUQUET!

TALKING BOUQUET!

How does the Voicemail Story end?  The story has no end!  Voicemail is alive and well in every country delivering messages in every language by almost every person on earth almost every day!  There are new voicemail services introduced every day!

What do I think is the best Voicemail service of all time?

Since I enjoy love stories, there is one voicemail service that really stands out above all the others.  One of the earliest services on record. This voicemail service was promoted on national TV by weatherman Willard Scott. The service was used mostly by the members of the military.  A voicemail message was delivered with a gift sent mostly to loved ones.  Many were sent to young children.  The messages always included "I love you!"

Ready?  The service was called the "Talking Bouquet!", first introduced by florist shops on U.S. military bases around the world.  We initially thought soldiers woould send flowers to their spouses, it turned out to be mostly soldiers sending dolls and teddy bears to their young children.  A card with a phone number and pass code brought smiles, tears and lots of love!

In Japan, the Talking Bouquet was advertised on TV, bill boards, taxi cabs, street signs... everywhere!  Most often it was sent with bouquets to loved ones and with gifts to friends! A wonderful surprise!!

The Voicemail love story lives on everyday, everywhere in the world!
